About John

I was born on 18 March 1957 in Manchester. Apparently, I was quite a big baby, but so were my two brothers.

I enjoy the outdoors and love anything to do with the weather. As soon as I hear about a major storm or hurricane, I follow it very closely on the internet. My dream is to go on a 'storm chasing' holiday in the states.

I was a very keen squash player until Thomas was born and it became more difficult to get to Norwich to play. I also ran the Great North Run (a half marathon in Newcastle) and a couple of half-marathons in Norwich. I love watching American Football and my favorite team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
